I am a 21-year-old craftsman, saved by the grace of God through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. I’ve been working with my father in our garage/shop since I could lift a hammer. I always took an interest in woodworking, from building small decor for others to building an eight-player poker-table. When I was 13 my dad bought an angle grinder and introduced me to metalworking. I loved it, spending my time making amateurly crafted “knives” and metal projects. Quickly turning to YouTube to gain knowledge, watching countless hours and thousands of videos day in and day out. With all the new knowledge, my dad and I were able to build our first coal forge; this allowed me to forge out and heat treat my very first knife. Since then, I’ve learned new skills and techniques about knife making and forging, practicing new designs and shapes, trying to perfect the craft. I started D Squared Knives in April, of 2024. Since the start of the business things have been rapidly growing, with all of your support, to the point our garage/shop is quickly running out of space. With hopes of getting our own shop one day, I will continue to learn and grow. So, thank you for all the love and support, I hope you are able to learn with me on this journey.
